Dublin HELP Awards Honour Community Service

International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026 was marked in Dublin with the sixth edition of the HELP Awards, hosted by the Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin to recognise community service across Ireland. Volunteers, community leaders, human rights advocates and changemakers gathered for the event, which also welcomed previous honourees.

Previous awardee Frank Allen, playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher, delivered a keynote address during the ceremony. Those honoured this year included Walk And Talk represented by Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland represented by Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish news eu vote Association represented by Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain represented by Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid of Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj and Neera Baj.

Created in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards honour those whose work improves the lives of others through service. The event also highlighted the wider mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, through which trained volunteers respond to social challenges and assist communities.
